Reese: Ontario - Class of 2023
Reese’s senior pictures were something truly special! We drove up to Squire’s Castle in Willoughby Hills (part of the Cleveland Metroparks), and the results were spectacular!
You’ll get to see more photos in just a second, because there are so many fun shots from Reese’s session. But first, a fun story about Reese! She loves Halloween and getting creative with her costumes. When we found out she hand-made her own costume this year, we knew it’d be fun to do a collab with her! Getting Creative With Colored Gels
Shooting senior pictures at a castle allows us to get pretty creative with our set. You’re able to get anything from dreamy earthy vibes to dark/dramatic.
One thing that turned out to be really fun was pairing colored/gelled flashes and a little Atmosphere Aerosol to create a cool hazy effect. It worked perfectly for this particular environment - and Reese added some personal flair into it.
Exploring Inside Squire’s Castle
There was plenty to explore within the walls Squire’s Castle, as I’m sure many Cleveland visitors would be able to point out.
We decided to try a little bit of everything. The wide open windows proved to be nice props and also allowed us to play around with different lighting scenarios. The interior grounds had plenty of photogenic spots, and thankfully Reese brought several outfits so she could get a perfect variety of grungy to fancy.
Finally, The Castle Grounds
In addition to the castle itself, the grounds offered plenty of photo opportunities, as you’re about to see!
After spending a good amount of time around the castle, we went to get some senior pictures in a more natural setting. We decided to get both a manicured look as well some untamed nature available to us. Both backgrounds were easy to work with, and Reese was so happy to have such a huge variety to choose from.

As someone who has never been comfortable in front of a camera, Isaac still made it a very fun, pleasant, comfortable, and memorable experience ! He made my ideas and interests that I wanted to incorporate in my senior pictures come to life, nothing was out of the question. I wanted a castle and he made it happen. He also made it a very comfortable atmosphere with great tips and direction to ensure the best poses. I loved my pictures so much it was hard to pick my favorites, he’s the best!
